I bet many my readers are starting to think about the big night (Thanksgiving dinner) and already planning what to make, especially what will go along with the juicy and delicious roasted turkey. My family always like to serve it with roasted green beans, mashed potatoes, rice, salads, some type of stuffing, and cranberry sauce. But, I think baked casserole dishes are also a big hit for Thanksgiving dinner, right?

Keeping this in mind, I made this recipe a few days ago, and we love it. I was trying to make a veggie casserole because we already eat a lot at this dinner. I thought a lighter, veggie dish was the right way to go. Since this is a veggie casserole, many of you may think, “Hum… This is a little blah…” But you are about to change your mind! Give it a try.

The crunchy and yummy crust on the top of this dish and the softness of the veggies inside and the melted mozzarella cheese make this Broccoli-Cauliflower Bake a winner. Give it a try because it is really easy-to-make, gluten-free, healthy, and so cheesy.

I made this Broccoli-Cauliflower Bake on Sunday and kept it in the fridge for more than 3 days. I took some to work and warmed it up in the microwave for lunch, and it was still very flavourful. I believe you can keep it in the fridge for up 5 days, but I don’t think it will last that long just because this is so D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.! The panko really adds that extra crunch. I’ve been using it a lot recently, see my Roasted Green beans with Garlic Panko and Garlic Panko Salmon Recipe.

I’m sorry but I found it to be as dry as it looks and not as tasty as it makes out to be. I made it straight up from recipe. Looked the same as picture when finished too.

Not good! Measurements for ingredients were way off. Panko, pepper and cayenne needs to be cut in half. Smoked paprika needs to be tsp not tbsp. Way too much heat and smoke. Also rather dry, definitely not creamy. Underwhelming at best.

I thought it could use more cheese and maybe some sour cream or Greek yogurt to create more of a sauce. Still in all, I liked the taste of the dish and will make it again, with a few minor changes.

Almost tasty. I found it to be too much paprika and too much pepper. I’m going to make this again with half of those amounts.

I made the cheese broccoli-cauliflower bake to today I would only give it 3 STARS. Very easy to make. It seem like it is lacking something and need something to give it moisture. What would you suggest? I am making things for a neighbor that is on a really strick diet. Low carb and low fat.

This was amazing! It was so good my 16 year old wanted seconds. 🙂 I used half British Vintage Cheddar cheese and half Gouda cheese. I also used about 3/4 cup of the bread crumbs and added about 1/4 cup of 2% milk. Yum! It has been requested to make this at Thanksgiving.

I thought the paprika was too, too much! Very spicy, and I like spicy! I would cut that in half and maybe cut the cayenne. I did add about 1/3 cup guyere to the chees mixture, and about 1/2 cup half and 1/2 to add a bit of moisture so it wasn’t too dry.
