I am still attending, participating in online classes. So far, all of my instructors have been amazing! They take the time to help me understand the material and go over anything/everything that I need to. My Program Mentor is also top of the line. She has been a great motivator/friend. She has only the best interests for the students she mentors. I am very grateful for her help through all of this. It hasn't been easy, and I know it will stay challenging. But with all the help WGU has to offer, I know I can succeed.

It started off a little rocky. Like I was falling through the cracks during enrollment, but it got better when I was in school. My mentor at first was nowhere to be found I couldn't get in touch with him. There was no slots available for me to make it appointments with him nothing. I made a formal request to switch mentors and they were able to switch me very quickly but I was very late in early in classes and whatnot because I lost all that time with my first mentor. The second Mentor was good I had some hiccups where I was not able to make the meetings that I scheduled due to personal emergencies but he made up time for me and it was really good. After that I was able to get into my classes and I was able to talk to my teachers and my professors and other students and it was really great things started going really well! Fast forward to know when things are still going really well I'm happy they're happy everybody's getting what they need! Let's keep on going!

My favorite thing about WGU is its flexibility and competency-based approach to learning. The university's online format allows students to study at their own pace. The competency-based model also allows students to progress through courses by demonstrating mastery of the material, rather than strictly adhering to a traditional semester-based schedule. The tuition structure is based on a flat rate per term, allowing us to take as many courses as they can complete within that timeframe without incurring additional costs. One critique is the limited access to peers!
